Child safety standards
Last updated: 22 October 2026
MeshLive has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualisation of minors. Using MeshLive for any of this is forbidden.
How MeshLive works, and what that means
MeshLive connects phones directly over Bluetooth. There are no MeshLive servers: calls, chats and livestreams go from phone to phone and are end-to-end encrypted. We never receive, store or see this content, so we cannot scan or delete it on anyone’s phone. Our safety measures work within that design.
What you can do in the app
- Block anyone: their calls, messages and livestreams no longer reach you.
- Report someone: they are blocked and everything from them is hidden on your phone. Then tap Tell MeshLive to email us about it.
- Contact us at any time from Settings > Contact us.
- Livestreams are public, so never share private information or images in one.
How to report a concern
Email meshlive.dev@gmail.com, or use Settings > Contact us or Report > Tell MeshLive in the app. Please describe what happened, when and where.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency number first. You can also report child sexual abuse material to NCMEC CyberTipline or your country’s hotline listed by INHOPE.
What we do
- We review every report we receive.
- When we gain actual knowledge of CSAM, we report it to NCMEC and the relevant authorities, as the law requires, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests that comply with applicable law.
- We improve the app’s safety features (blocking, reporting, hiding) based on reports.
- We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations.
MeshLive is not intended for children under 13.
